XT-912 TOURER

THE PINNACLE OF ULTRALIGHT DEVELOPMENT

If you are looking for a brilliantly designed ultralight with exceptional engineering then look no further.

Step into the XT-912 Tourer and you will see why it's the best selling four stroke ultralight in the world. The handling of Airborne wings is renowned throughout the ultralight industry and your choice of either the Streak-3 or Cruze wing will not disappoint. The Streak-3 is the faster of the two wings with a hands off trim speed of 56-60 knots compared to the Cruze with a trim speed of 47-52 knots.

The Rotax 912 80HP is the flagship engine of the industry. With it's exceptional reliability and 80 horses it delivers ample power for the lift efficient Streak-3 and Cruze wings. The fuel efficient four stroke engine coupled with the large capacity 70 litre fuel tank makes for a potential range of 702 kilometres (436 miles).

The 912-XT Tourer offers a level of comfort to the pilot and passenger rarely seen and a must during long cross country flights. The optional dual rear disc brakes deliver exceptional stopping power for tight landing fields. The Skydat GX2 glass panel digital instrument is state of the art and features full engine and flight management readouts. The XT-912 Tourer is undoubtedly the ultimate cross country ultralight.

XT-912 TUNDRA

OUTBACK VERSATILITY WITH 912 DEPENDABILITY

If you are looking for a rugged ultralight that can handle extra rough or sandy terrain then take a look at the XT-912 Outback. The instrument binnacle makes for easy access for the pilot, perfect for aero towing where the pilot is in and out of the aircraft between tows.

The XT-912 Outback is available with 3 wings (slow to fast) - the Merlin, the Cruze or the Streak-3. The Merlin is a slow single surface wing perfect for aero towing - slow enough to handle tandem hang gliders and fast enough for performance hang gliders and ultralight sailplanes. The Merlin is also perfect for float flying enabling the pilot to leave the water faster.

The Cruze or Streak-3 wing turn the XT-912 Outback into a cross country aircraft making it the perfect Outback tourer and allowing the pilot a broader range of landing options, and also making it suitable for stock mustering and fence line inspections.

Powered by the Rotax 912 80HP engine and with optional dual rear disc brakes the XT-912 Outback has more than enough power for normal and towing flight with exceptional stopping power.

State of the art digital instrumentation is standard with the Skydat GX2. It features full engine and flight management with fuel flow and accumulated fuel usage in an easy to read glass panel.

XT-582 TOURER

AN AFFORDABLE XT OPTION

The XT-582 Tourer retains the engineered features of the top of the range XT-912 Tourer but at a more affordable cost. The difference is in the engine. The XT-582 Tourer is complete with the Rotax 582 65HP dual ignition dual carburettor (DCDI) two stoke engine.

The 582 Tourer coupled with the Cruze wing is a dream to fly. The Cruze wing has a faired aerodynamic control frame with trimmer control. The trimmer can be set to allow the aircraft to fly at set speeds within an 8 knot range. This feature is standard on all Streak-3 and Cruze wings.

The Rotax 582 engine delivers plenty of power for a healthy climb rate and a hands off cruise speed of around 52 knots with the Cruze wing. With its comfortable and roomy XT seating and 70 litre fuel tank the XT-582 Tourer makes for a great cross country ultralight.

The wide 6" wheels allow the XT-582 Tourer to handle rough airstrips and dual rear disc brakes are available as an option.

State of the art digital instrumentation is standard with the Skydat GX2. It features full engine and flight management with fuel flow and accumulated fuel usage in an easy to read glass panel.
